Beyond the conventional approaches of vaccination and antibiotic treatment, emerging research suggests that nutritional supplementation may play a pivotal role in preventing tuberculosis. This article delves into the intricate relationship between nutrition and tuberculosis prevention, exploring the potential benefits and implications for global public health.

Nutritional Nexus

Nutrition is integral to the functioning of the immune system, and its impact on infectious diseases, including tuberculosis, is increasingly recognized. Malnutrition, characterized by deficiencies in essential nutrients, weakens the immune response, making individuals more susceptible to infections and hindering the effectiveness of TB treatment.
