Angiology refers to systematic study of diseases and disorders related to blood vessels including hypertension, atherosclerosis, stroke and coronary artery diseases. Over the recent years, with increased research emphasis on cardiovascular diseases, medical information on vascular abnormalities and diseases hadconcomitantly expanded. Crossing the disciplinary demarcations, there have been several significant advances in the prevention and treatment of vascular disorders. In this context communication of research outcomes through open access platforms has immense role in coordinated and integrated approaches and translation of findings into clinically effective solutions.

Angiology: Open access is an International well-established online open access journal publishing peer-reviewed articles on vascular diseases and treatments. The Journal aims to furnish recent advancements, new developments as well as novel insights while providing en effective communication platform for proposing new research hypothesis, expert opinions through publication of critical reviews, perspective, short note communications and commentaries. The Journal provides a wide scope for accommodating different topics of allied research in neurology, cardiology, oncology, diagnostics, therapeutics, surgery and clinical research. The specific topics that are considered include angiogram, ischemia, iliac artery, stent, lymphedema, deep vein thrombosis, thoracic aortic aneurysm, hyperlipidemia, aneurysm, endarterectomy, venous insufficiency, pulmonary thrombosis, and bypass surgery.

The journal fast tracks the manuscript processing including peer-review with average turnaround time of 28 days from the date of initial submission.
