Waseem Akhter Mirza is an Assistant Professor in department of Radiology at Aga khan university hospital Karachi Pakistan from 2009 to Date. He had done Postgraduate diploma in clinical epidemiology from Aga khan university Karachi Pakistan from 2006 to 2007. He received Fellowship in radiology from college of physicians and surgeons Pakistan in 2006. He completed his Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of surgery from university of Karachi, Pakistan in 1999. Waseem Akhter Mirza has also been the Senior Instructor in department of radiology at Aga khan university hospital from 2007 to 2008. He has more than 40 publications and contributed his articles in magazine and newspaper.
My research interest are Carotid intimal thickness by ultrasound for chronic disease evaluation, Ultrasound use to improve pregnancy outcomes in low income country settings, HIB study for prevention of childhood pneumonia and meningitis, MRI for Schizophrenia.
