Dr. Tina Cloney is a health and nutrition professor in the Department of Exercise Science & Sport at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, USA. Dr. Cloney has a bachelor’s degree in Health, Nutrition, and Dietetics; a master’s degree in Community health, and a doctoral degree in Public Health, Health Education and Health Promotion. Dr. Cloney holds three board certifications. She is a board certified registered dietitian, board certified sport specialist dietitian, and a board certified diabetes educator. Before joining Millikin University, Dr. Cloney worked for over 20 years in the clinical, community, and executive health setting. Dr. Cloney’s research interests include the role of nutrition and physical activity in disease prevention, disease management, the prevention of injury, sport performance and recovery.
