Steve H Thorne is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Surgery and Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh and a member of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. He obtained his BSc degree in Biochemistry from Oxford University and his PhD in Microbiology from Imperial College London. He has studied as a Research Associate at Cancer Research UK London and at Stanford University California. He is an Alliance of Cancer Gene Therapy Fellow and has received the Hillman Fellowship for Innovative Cancer Research. He has over 40 peerreviewed publications and is a reviewer for several Journals.
