Shigeo Hino

Biography

Prof. Shigeo Hino has received his MD in 1967 in University of Tokyo and PhD in 1972 in University of Tokyo. Currently, he is working as director of Medical Scanning, Nakano. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Prof. Chair in Dept. Virology, Tottori University, Yonago, Japan. He has authored research articles/books on HTLV, TTV and certification of class II biological safety cabinets. He chaired the committee of Japanese standard for class II biological safety cabinets, JIS K 3800:2009. He is an honorary member of Japan Cancer Research, and a special member of Japan Air Cleaning Association. He has honored as Princess Takamatsu Cancer Research Award in 2002, and Japan Cancer Research Association Nagayo Mataro Award in 2007.
