Saravanan Devendran is a postdoctoral research fellow at energy bioscience institute, University of Illinois at urbana-champaign, USA. He has received his Bachelor (2007) and Master degree in Biotechnology from Anna University, India and Ph.D. (Tech) (2013) in Bioprocess Technology from Institute of Chemical Technology (formerly UDCT), India. His research activity mainly focused on expression and purification of proteins, application of biocatalysis on active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) synthesis, microbial synthesis of value added chemicals and Biofuels. He has authored and coauthored several journals and conference publications.
