Salih Sanlioglu V.M.D., Ph.D. graduated from College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Selcuk (1988). Later, he received his M.S. (1992) and Ph.D. degrees (1996) from the Ohio State University in the field of Molecular Genetics. He started his postdoctoral training at the Institute for Human Gene Therapy, University of Pennsylvania (1997) and completed it in the Department of Internal Medicine and Gene Therapy Center of University of Iowa (2002). Since then he has been working as a faculty member of Human Gene and Cell Therapy Center at Akdeniz University (2003 to current).
Gene and cell therapy of diabetes and other genetic diseases
