Sacha A De Serres

Biography

Dr. De Serres received his MD from University of Montreal, Canada in 2002, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine and a clinical fellowship in Nephrology at Université Laval. From 2008 to 2011, he underwent post-doctoral training in Transplantation Immunology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in the laboratory of Dr. Nader Najafian. He received a SM degree in Epidemiology from Harvard School of Public Health in 2010. He is currently nephrologist at CHUQ – Hotel-Dieu de Quebec, Canada and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Université Laval. His research focuses on the role of the innate immune system in chronic allograft damage in renal transplant recipients.
