Dr. Gazi has worked in the field of public health for last 20 years. She obtained an MBBS degree from Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, Rajshahi, Bangladesh and an MSc in Public Health in Developing Countries from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has been trained on methods of systematic reviews. As a public health professional her fields of interest are reproductive and sexual health, HIV/AIDS, and health systems research. Dr. Gazi has 26 journal article publications in peer-reviewed journals. She performs as a faculty of the Centre’s training courses; (1) Basic Epidemiology and Biostatistics and (2) Introductory course on qualitative methods offered to the internal and external participants. She performs as a reviewer for five international journals. Dr. Gazi has extensive experience in coordination and collaboration with international organizations on research projects. She served a member of the Research Review Committee and Ethical Review Committee of icddr,b.
As a public health professional her fields of interests are reproductive and sexual health, HIV/AIDS, and health systems research.
