I, Rozana Oliveira Goncalves, was born in the city of Piritiba, in the interior of the state of Bahia in the year 1977. I am the daughter of Dilton Alexandrian Gonçalves and Florisvalda Oliveira Gonçalves. My marital status is single. In 1992 my family and I lived in the city of Miguel Calmon, so I studied up to the high school level there. In 1996, to continue studying, I had to separate from my family and I moved to the capital of Bahia, Salvador. In 1997, I started a course in Biological Sciences at the Catholic University of Salvador. In 2001 I began my career in research as an intern in the Laboratory of Human Genetics and Medical Maternity Climério de Oliveira. In 2006, I started a Master's degree in biotechnology and investigative medicine at Gonçalo Muniz Research Center / Fiocruz, where I also completed a doctoral program (2008-2013). I am currently a biology teacher in the Bahia state network.
