Dr. R.S. Verma is presently working as a Scientist at Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP), a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), India. He obtained his M.Sc. degree in Organic Chemistry from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Avadh University, Faizabad Uttar Pradesh in 2000. He is involved in extraction, isolation and characterization of aroma chemicals/essential oils from aromatic and medicinal plants. He has experience in guiding research work for the award of master degree and has also published over 65 research papers (till 2011) in prestigious international and national journals.
