Dr. Pearlly Yan is a Research Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology, Department of Internal Medicine and the Technical Director of the Shared Genomics Core at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Yan received her PhD degree from the Iowa State University and was an Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri-Columbia until 2003. Subsequently, she joined the Molecular Virology, Immunology, and Medical Genetics and served as the Deputy Director of the NCI-OSU Integrative Cancer Biology Program until 2008. Dr. Yan’s research has been focused on using cutting-edge technologies and computation approaches to profile the epigenomes of acute myeloid leukemia, breast, endometrial, and ovarian cancers. In recent years, Dr. Yan integrates genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenomic data derived from next-generation sequencing experiments to profile human cancers and diseases.
