Dr. Okafor Innocent Igwebueze was born on November 24, 1958 in Affa, Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria. He was the last child in a monogamous family of six children. My father, Mr John Okafor-Ogalawo died when I was only three months old. I was brought up by my mother in a family of abject poverty. I finished my primary education at St John central school Affa in 1972 after the Nigerian civil war. I completed my secondary and university education in 1977 and 1985 respectively, and specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2002. I was conferred a chieftaincy title as NNATUBEUGO 1 of Affa in 2002 for honesty and hardwork. I am now an associate professor, HOD of Obstetrics and gynecology, Enugu State College of Medicine, and a part-time consultant to Semino Hospital and Maternity Enugu. I am married with 6 children. I love football and my ideal clubs are Arsenal and Barcelona.
