Biography

Navid Jubaer Ayon, Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant [June 2014 till Date] University of Missouri (Kansas City, USA)  Primarily working on novel antibacterial agent discovery through in-vitro metabolism of chemical library using human liver microsome in a high throughput screening approach. Trained on active metabolite purification and identification using preparative HPLC and LC-MS/MS based assay respectively.  Developed a LC-MS/MS method for baseline separation of 20 common L and D-amino acids using chiral reagent. Worked on quantitative bacterial metabolomics upon exposure to different antibiotics using LC-MS/MS.  Developed and optimized various analytical LC-MS/MS methods for small molecule drugs (nanoparticle based delivery, solid dispersions), DNA bases (enzymatic reactions products), hormones and amino acids (biological samples).  Worked as a teaching assistant in PharmD Medicinal Chemistry course. Lecturer [April 2013-July 2013] University of Asia Pacific (Dhaka, Bangladesh)  Taught Clinical Pathology and Pharmaceutical Packaging to B.Pharm students.  Worked as the primary lab instructor for Pharmaceutical Analysis lab. Product Executive [February 2012-July 2012] Advanced Chemical Industries (ACI) Limited (Dhaka, Bangladesh)  Responsible for strategic marketing planning and implementation of analgesic and anesthetic agents.  Conducted workshops for disseminating scientific features of portfolio drug products to sales department.
