Biography

Nancy A Louis is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of NeonatalPerinatal Medicine at Emory University Atlanta GA. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Dartmouth College Hanover NH 1991. She received her MD from Duke University Durham NC 1995. She completed Pediatric training at Massachusetts General Hospital 1998 and Neonatalogy Fellowship at the Harvard Combined Program Boston MA 1998-2001. She completed a PostDoctoral Fellowship in intestinal epithelial biology with Sean Colgan 2001-2006. She received the Marjorie J LeMay MD Fellowship in Medicine 2003-2004 from Harvard Medical School Boston MA. She joined the Emory Faculty in 2007 and has been partially supported as a RoomstoGo Scholar. She has authored 10 original publications and 7 review articles. She has recently reviewed for The Journal of Biological Chemistry, The American Journal of Pathology Biofactors, World Journal of Microbiology and Technology and Recent Patents on Inflammation Allergy Discovery.
