Dr. Mohelnikova-Duchonova was born in Ostrava, Czech Republic on February 27th, 1983. She has received her Doctor of Medicine degree and PhD. degree from the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. She specializes in the Clinical Oncology atPalacký University Medical School & Teaching Hospital, Olomouc, Czech Republic and she works as a scientist on several project that are financed by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic in the National Institute of Public Health in Prague, Czech Republic. She is an author of several articles mainly focused on pancreatic cancer. She is a member of Society of Gastroenterology and Society of Oncology of the Czech Republic. She has been honored with several awards such as European Pancreatic Club grant or the Prize for the best young scientist awarded by NIPH, Czech Republic.
Dr. Mohelnikova is interested in the gastrointestinal tumors (especially pancreatic adenocarcinoma) - their epidemiology, development & progression and treatment. She focused on the investigation of new prognostic and predictive biomarkers of these malignancies.
