Miyoung Lee

Biography

Dr. Lee has received her PhD concentrating on measurement and evaluation in the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health at the University of Illinois at UrbanaChampaign. She is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Nutrition and Exercise Sciences at the Oregon State University OSU. She is also a director of Physical Activity and Disability Laboratory and a faculty member for the graduate program of the Movement Studies in Disabilities. Dr. Lee is an advisory committee member of Measurement Evaluation Council in the American Alliance for Health Physical Education Recreation and Dance AAHPERD. She has also been serving as a convention program reviewer eg AAHPERD and Society of Behavioral Medicine and a grant reviewer of international research foundations eg Neurological Foundation of New Zealand and Netherlands Organization for Health Research and Development . Dr. Lee has authored more ten research articles in the reputed academic journals eg Medicine Science in Sports Exercise and has honored to receive an Emerging Scholar Award 2008 in the Health Wellness and Disability State of the Science Conference funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research in the United States Department of Education.
