Dr Mark Agius has received his MD in University of Malta in 1976. Currently, he is working as an Associate Specialist at South Essex Partnership Trust and a Visiting Research Associate in The Department of Psychiatry University of Cambridge. He is serving as an editorial member of Psychiatria Danubina. He has authored 63 research articles in Pubmed and a number of /book chapters. He is an Associate of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and has been a member of the General Psychiatry Faculty Committee of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
Dr Mark Agius′s main research interests are development of services for important mental illnesses, including depression, OCD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Schizophreina, especially early intervention.
