Maiese Kenneth

Biography

Kenneth Maiese is Professor and Head of Cellular and Molecular Signaling at New Jersey Health Sciences University.  Dr. Maiese has been fortunate to receive recognition with outstanding teaching awards and election to America\\\\\\\\s Top Physicians, the Best of U.S. Physicians, and Top Doctors.  His investigations are designed to translate basic science into successful therapeutic treatments for conditions such as cancer, metabolic disorders, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stroke, and Alzheimer\\\\\\\\s disease.  He is a top cited author with continuous funding from the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, the Bugher Foundation, a Johnson and Johnson Focused Giving Award, and the NIH.  Dr. Maiese holds several patents, has over 300 publications and has authored 5 books. Dr. Maiese also serves as the Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editor, or editorial board member for more than 60 journals as well as on multiple executive committees, technology panels, and scientific advisory councils.
