Dr. Lihong Chen received her M.D. from Shanxi Medical University in 2004. Her Ph.D. in Pathophysiology was granted by Peking University, one of top 2 universities in China, in 2009. Dr. Chen is currently a Research Associate in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Chen has extensive experience in the cardiovascular biology of cyclooxygenase products and the translational pharmacology of the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Dr. Chen’s research also overlaps in the investigation of the role of nuclear receptors in metabolic disorders. Dr. Chen serves as an active editor and reviewer for many reputable scientific journals.
Research interests: Cardiovascular biology, pharmacology, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, prostanoid, nuclear receptor, metabolic syndrome.
