Dr. Lei Wei got MD from China and my Ph.D from Karolinska Institute from Stockholm, Sweden. I am working at Department of Orthopaedics, Brown Medical School since year 2002..He ahs a strong professional background in rheumatoid arthritis,its pathogenesis and treatment.He has served as editor in many international journals.
Lei Wie research interests have included regulation of chondrocyte maturation and axial skeletal development, the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis to develop new diagnostic tools and therapies. The scientific approach includes clinical studies in collaboration with the divisions of Rheumatology and Orthopedic Surgery at Rhode Island Hospital, laboratory research on human patient tissues, transgenic mice, surgery induced animal models, cell and molecular biology.
