Dr. Laxmi T Rao received her post doc from Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg, Germany in 2002. She is the Secretary of APPI Bangalore Chapter. She is also a member of Society for Neuroscience (SfN), USA. Her research concentrates on cellular mechanisms and cell damage involved in various neurological disorders. She is currently an Associate Professor in Department of Neurophysiology, NIMHANS, Bangalore.
Extinction as a Therapeutic Tool for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and for various Mood Disorders.
