Dr. Lawrence S Chan has received his MD degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1985. Subsequently he obtained his Dermatology Residency and Immunodermatology Fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical Center Currently. Dr. Chan is serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Dermatology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He has had five years of administrative experience as the Head of Department. Dr. Chan has authored and coauthored more than 90 peerreviewed biomedical journal articles 30 book chapters and 2 scientific textbooks. He is a fellow of American Academy of Dermatology and a member of Society for Investigative Dermatology Dermatology Foundation Association of Professors of Dermatology and Microcirculatory Society Recently. Dr. Chan has been elected to be a member of American Dermatological Association.
