Dr. Jarosław Socha is professor in the Department of Biometry and Forest Productivity, at the Faculty of Forestry, University of Agriculture in Krakow, Poland. In 2001 he received his PhD in forest biometry, and in 2010 habilitation in forest productivity at the University of Agriculture in Krakow.
He published over 50 original research articles in several international journals including: Forest Ecology & Management, Canadian Journal of Forest Research, European Journal of Forest Research, Ecological Engineering, Folia Forestalia Polonica, Scandinavian Journal of Forest Research, Science of Total Environment, Journal of Forest Science, Sylwan.
He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Lesnícky ÄŒasopis – Forestry Journal, member of the Editorial Board of the Beskydy Journal, and referee for: Forest Ecology and Management, Annals of Forest Science, Canadian Journal of Forest Research, European Journal of Forest Research, Scandinavian Journal of Forest Research, Journal of Forestry Research, Journal of Mountain Science, Journal of Environmental Sciences & Research, Baltic Forestry, Folia Forestalia Polonica, Forests.
