Dr. Guanhong Li received his B. S. and M.S. from Jiangxi Agricultural University (Nanchang, China) in 1997, 2000, respectively, and Ph.D. from Jiangnan University (Wuxi, China) in 2005. Science 2000, he has been a faculty member as a Lecturer (2000-2007), Associate Professor (2007-2012) and Full Professor (2012-now) in Jiangxi Agricultural University, China. Currently, he is the deputy director of Jiangxi Province Key Laboratory of Animal Nutrition. Dr. Li is a member of the editorial boards of several academic journals. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles.
Interaction between probiotics/nutrition and immune function especially within the intestinal tract, nutritional modulation of immunity with an emphasis on the regulation of host defense peptides expression by nutrients in innate and adaptive immunity under stressed conditions, determining how nutrients regulate immune function and the microbiome.
