Gordana Jakovljevi? is a pediatric hematologist and oncologist with years of experience. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine Zagreb, Croatia in 1982. After completion of her training in pediatrics and transfusion medicine in the Clinical Hospital Centre Zagreb, she was educated in the field of pediatric hematology and oncology. She is currently working at the Department of Hematology and Oncology at Children\\s Hospital Zagreb, where she has participated in the establishment of the Unit for autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Her area of research is pediatric hematology and oncology and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. A particular area of interest is tumor angiogenesis which was the subject of her Ph.D. dissertation. She is an assistant professor at the Medical Faculty Osijek, Croatia. She is a member of International Society of Paediatric Oncology. Croatian Pediatric Society, and Croatian Society for Hematology and Transfusiology . She has got award from Croatian Pediatric Society for scientific work: „Vascular endothelial growth factor in children with neuroblastoma“.
Her area of research is pediatric hematology and oncology and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. A particular area of interest is tumor angiogenesis.
