Dr. Gennaro Pagano was born in Naples (Italy) on 02/04/1985. In 2009, he took his degree in Medicine (110/110 First with Honors) at the University of Naples Federico II”. Starting May 2010 Dr. Pagano is resident doctor of Geriatrics in the Department of Translational Medical Sciences at the Federico II University of Naples (Italy). His interests focused on mechanisms underlying Sympathetic Impairment in Aging and other conditions (such as Heart Failure, Diabetes, Parkinsons and Alzheimers disease) and on the effects of exercise training and pharmacological treatment to improve symptoms and progression of these diseases. Dr. Pagano is member of Italian Society of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology, member of Cochrane Heart Group and member of MORE – McMaster Online Rating of Evidence. He is reviewer of the Journal of Gerontology: Medical Sciences (JGMS) and of the BioMedCentral Research Notes (BMC Research notes).
