Gabriel A Martin

Biography

Dr. Tony Martin has taught at the undergraduate and graduate (masters and doctoral level) for 25 years. He was an onsite evaluator for the Council of Education for the Deaf (CED) and was the director for the program review for CED for eight years. He has served as department chair for the Department of Deaf Studies & Deaf Education and has held other administrative positions in state organizations related to interpreting and deaf education. He has directed doctoral dissertation research and has published in a variety of journals with his students and with his colleagues.

Research Interest

His research focus is in the areas of ASL, Law, Curriculum, Educational Interpreting and Multicultural/Bilingual Issues
