Marco Salerno is a Material Scientist (Scopus h-index 25) especially active in the field of applications of nanoporous oxides, nanocomposites, and advanced microscopy. He has a score of 140+ published articles, and a similar number of reviews on Publons. He managed several Special Issues, and holds two patents in the area of biomedicine. He is presently working as the responsible of the Scanning Probe Microscopy laboratory of the headquarter of the Italian Institute of Technology, in Genoa (Italy).
