Dr. Donald N. Slinn has pursued his BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1988 from Brigham Young University. In 1989, he pursued his MS in Mechanical Engineering and in 1995, his Ph.D. also in Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Washington. In 2001, he took up the position of Assistant Professor in the department of Civil & Coastal Engineering in the University of Florida, and remained in that position until 2004. Currently he is an Associate Professor in UF and belongs to the division of Coastal & Oceanographic Engineering.
