Dr. Antonio Trincone
Senior Research Scientist, Department of Chemical Sciences and Material Engineering
National Research Council, Italy
Antonio Trincone is currently a Senior Researcher working since 1983 in Naples at the Istituto di Chimica Biomolecolare (I.C.B.) belonging to Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, Italy. He graduated with honors in Pharmacy at the University of Naples discussing a thesis on biogenesis of membrane lipids of archaebacteria. He has been Professor of Organic Chemistry in charge for several years at University of Salerno, Italy. Antonio Trincone has been elected as researcher-representative at the I.C.B. first in the Comitato di Istituto and, on January 2009, in the Consiglio di Istituto. Antonio Trincone is author of more than 100 scientific publications (articles, reviews, book contributions) appeared in international leading scientific journals.
