Dr. Diala F. Ammar is an Assistant professor of Psychology at LAU Beirut. She has graduated with a PhD in kinesiology from Texas A&M University.
Ammar’s research is aimed at understanding the mental effect of war on children including anxiety, depression and other behavior problems. Other research interests include resiliency during war, and effect of physical activity on mental health. Other research focuses include cognitive aspects of action processing including visual and motor imagery.
