Dr. Tongming Yin received a B.S. degree in forestry and a Ph.D. degree in genetics and molecular biology from Nanjing Forestry University, Nanjing, China., He has authored a book Tree Genetics and Breeding. His current research interests include genomics, gene function, and molecular breeding of woody plants., Dr. Yin received the Outstanding Young Scientist Fund of Natural Science Foundation of China, in 2011. In 2010, he was nominated as one of the top ten outstanding young scientists in Jiangsu province of China.
