  Hope, Resilience and Locus of Control among Women in Prison

  The purpose of this research was to study the difference between Under-trials and Convicts in their level of Hope, Resilience, and Locus of control. The study adopts sample survey design. A purposive sample of 23 Under-trails and 17 Convicts was selected from a prison in Karnataka. Brief Resilience Scale by Smith et al. Adult Hope Scale by Snyder et al. and Locus of Control Scale by Julian Rotter were used for the study.
