    Infected Edematous Striae Distensae

    Introduction: The use of steroids and the accumulation of fluid within the body have been contributed the worrying presentation of bullous striae distensae which is managed conservatively, and medical interference has not been reported. Case: 13-year-old presented with generalised edema to the ER with abdominal and upper thigh lesions which are diagnosed as bullous striae distensae and it was very tender and erythematous. The patient clinically improved after treating her with antibiotics. Result: Bullous striae distensae can be infected and conservative management is not always the appropriate choice.
