Accelerating Therapeutic Innovation Through Advanced Drug Development Technologies

Drug development is a multidisciplinary process that transforms a scientific concept into a safe and effective therapeutic product for human use. The process integrates biology, chemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, regulatory science and clinical medicine to identify promising compounds, evaluate their safety and establish their therapeutic efficacy. Although technological innovations have accelerated many stages of development, bringing a new medicine to market remains a lengthy, expensive and scientifically demanding endeavor.
