Wesley H. Brooks is in the Department of Chemistry at the University of South Florida. He has a background in software development in business (Baxter and Kimberly-Clark) and in drug discovery both virtual and experimental. His main interests are: developing hypotheses about disease mechanisms (especially autoimmune diseases) and in developing advanced computer applications to improve drug discovery. His career has been directed towards these interests. He has published articles in each of these areas. Personal interests are in travel, classical guitar and novel writing (a new interest).
