Walter Daghino

Biography

Dr. Walter Daghino, Medicine Doctor (Ph.D.-medicine), is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, staff member of the I Orthopaedic Clinic of the Turin University, Delegate of AO Trauma Italia, Member of Board of the Italian Foot and Ankle Society (SICP), Member of EFORT (European Federation of National Associations of Ortopaedics and Traumatology), EFAS (European Foot and Ankle Society) and SIOT (Italian Society of the Orthopaedics and Traumatology). He got his medical Degree and his Orthopaedic Speciality at Turin University. Dr. Walter Daghino got the Costanzo Tortello Award in 1992, and the Fornaca di Sessant Award in 2007. Dr. Walter Daghino got a Master in Orthopedic Surgery from SIOT in 2006. In the last 18 years Dr. Walter Daghino has worked at the Traumatological Centre Hospital (CTO) of Turin, focused on foot and ankle surgery. Author of a book on surgical treatment of Foot and Ankle traumatic lesions, published in 2016, he has also authored many peer reviewed articles and textbook chapters on international and Italian national journals. Dr. Walter Daghino worked in organization and coordination of several international and national courses in Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is reviewer for the JOT (Italian Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology) and Member of Editorial Board of JSM Foot and Ankle.
