I am a Ph.D. candidate in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on rehabilitation engineering and gait analysis. My current research is focused on constructing a rehabilitation device to train ambulatory stroke patients who bear more weight to the non-paretic limb to obtain symmetrical gait performance through training. I am also involved in a project to construct an attachment to pumps to improve blood clot removal, which has been filed as a PCT (PCT/US2014/025211: Dynamic aspiration methods and systems). I obtained my B.S. in physics with a minor in math as a student athlete and captain of our softball team at the university.
