My research interests within the field of behavioral medicine/health psychology are focused
on heath - related quality of life, mental health (depression, anxiety), health locus of control
as well as medication adherence in chronic illness with particular reference to kidney disease,
renal dialysis and transplantation. Most of my work centers on delineating psychological
processes that underline patients’ outcomes and physical disease course.
