    Introduction: Pregnancy and childbirth are natural and often eventful processes many women are at risk for developing complications during pregnancy and childbirth. Complications of pregnancy and childbirth are the leading causes of disability and death among women in the reproductive age (15-49) years in developing countries. Some studies have estimated that ANC alone can reduce maternal mortality by 20% given good quality and regular attendance.
