Sophie A Jamal

Biography

Sophie Jamal, MD, PhD, FRCPC is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto and is the Director of Research for the Osteoporosis Program at Women’s College Hospital.
She is an endocrinologist and clinician scientist at Women’s College Research Institute who specializes in the treatment of metabolic bone diseases including osteoporosis. She has a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology and is co-director of the Toronto Centre for the Canadian Multicentre Osteoporosis Study.
