				 Background: Emergency contraceptive (EC) is a type of modern contraception which is indicated after unprotected sexual intercourse, following sexual abuse, misuse of regular contraceptive or non-use of contraception. Use of Emergency contraceptive (EC) with in a defined time period could prevent unwanted pregnancy and its damaging consequences like unintended child birth and unsafe abortion.
Objective: The objective of this study was to assess knowledge, attitude and practice of Emergency contraceptive utilization among preparatory students in Mizan, Bench-Maji Zone, SNNP RS, and South West Ethiopia.
