Biography
Vikram Sethi serves as the Director of the Institute of Defense Studies and
Education and Advisor to the Dean of the Corporate Programs and Relations, Raj Soin College of Business. Vikram received his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. He previously held the position of Chair, Department of Information Systems and Operations Management, Raj Soin College of Business; Associate Professor and PhD Coordinator, University of Texas, Arlington. He also serves as Director, Data Intensive Supply Chain Research Center, Wright State University. He works extensively to assist organizations in the area of strategic renovations and information systems solutions for strategy reinforcement. He developed the MAP3 System to assist organizations with the task of process simplification and prioritization through the isolation of bottlenecks in
business processes. He is also the author of the Stress
Management and Determination Inventory, a psychological instrument that measures and manages stress in information systems professionals. He works with organizations to develop effective global strategies. He has published more than 50
articles in refereed journals and conferences, and produced several white papers in the areas of global information systems, human capital management, organizational transformation and information system project risk assessment. His book entitled, "Organizational Transformation Through
Business Process Reengineering," was published by Prentice Hall in 1993.
