Biography
Dr. Ramanathan Muthalagu professor of Medicine in the department of Hematology and Oncology and responsible for the care of patients diagnosed with hematological malignancies such as Myeloma, MDS, leukemia, and Lymphoma. As a bone marrow transplant physician, He served as a consultant for patients referred for stem cell transplant and have expertise in autologous (from self) and allogeneic (from donor) stem cell transplants and graft versus host disease. His job responsibility includes, selection of the appropriate HLA matched donor, and management of the patient before, during and after the stem cell transplant.
