- Awarded grant funds to implement and support research work, including food access and cancer related interventions.
- Carry out project management and community engagement activities in diverse minority communities.
- Manage data collection, data analysis, and project evaluation activities. 
- Provide expertise in strategic communication, qualitative methods, and behavior change theory to intervention/prevention efforts.
- Collaborate with community members and other local organizations to address community-identified health issues. 
- Collaborate with investigators on multidisciplinary research projects geared towards addressing and reducing health disparities particularly among vulnerable populations.
- Author and co-author reports for funders and community partners as well as manuscripts and abstracts for publication in peer reviewed journals. 
- Give presentations at primary care, public health, and communication conferences on intervention/prevention projects.
- Lecture at various Public Health classes and Family Medicine Resident research sessions on a range of health communication and behaviour change topics.
