Kilias AD is a Professor in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He completed his Doctor of Geology at the University of Thessaloniki. His research interests as a Professor reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
Research in the fields of Structural Geology-Tectonics and their applications, related especially to the investigation of the geological-structural evolution of Hellenic geotectonic zones and the study of their continuity towards North in surrounding countries, as well as in Alps and Betides. A total of about 125 original scientific papers in International and Greek Journals Papers read in over 30 international congresses. Scientific coordinator for seven research programs in the above mentioned fields and participation in over 30 scientific studies on behalf of state and private agencies
