Biography
Dr. Murigendra Hiremath obtained his Master Degree in 1996 and Doctoral Degree in 2001 from the Karnatak University, Dharwad. Dr. Hiremath Joined National Institute of Advanced Studies, Indian Institute of Sciences Campus, Bangalore in 2002. Dr. Hiremath Joined KLES Kidney Foundation, KLES Dr.Prabhakar Kore Hospital & MRC, Belgaum as a Scientist and Chief Coordinator for
Clinical Trials and Research in 2007. He joined Department of Biotechnology and Microbiology, Karnatak University, Dharwad in 2013. His research interests are in Biotechnology, Environmental Stewardship, Science and Technology Policy Studies. He has carried out both experimental and field research in the areas of Reproductive Toxicology, Environment, Health and Agricultural Sciences. Much of his Research work at National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore and KLES Kidney Foundation, Belgaum is of scientific and societal significance. He has attended and presented papers at many National and International Conferences and visited several countries in Europe, and Asia. He has also organized ICMR sponsored National and International level Conferences. He has worked with many Government and Non-Governmental Organizations in environment, health and society, and is a member of various associations in Science and Technology.
