Biography
Dr. M.D. Giuseppe Frazzitta is Head of Department of Parkinson Disease Rehabilitation and Neuro rehabilitation, “Moriggia-Pelascini” Hospital, Gravedona, and Scientific advisor of European Foundation of Biomedical Researche (FERB), Trescore Balneario, Italy Graduated in Medicine in 1988 and Specialized in Neurology at the University of Pavia in 1992. 1993-1999 post of Staff Neurologist in the Department of Neurology, Busto Arsizio Hospital. During this period, he was head for Laboratory of Neurodegenerative disorders.1999-2012 post of Staff Neurologist, Department of Neuro rehabilitation, Scientific Institute of Montescano, “S. Maugeri” Foundation, Montescano. 2005-2012 Head of “Laboratory of Diagnostic and Neuro muscolar Rehabilitation”, Scientific Institute of Montescano, “S. Maugeri” Foundation, 2013- today Head of Department of Parkinson Disease Rehabilitation and Neuro rehabilitation, “Moriggia-Pelascini” Hospital, Gravedona ed Uniti (CO), and Scientific advisor of European Foundation of Biomedical Researche (FERB), Trescore Balneario (BG), Italy. His areas of research are Parkinson disease rehabilitation, brain and spinal injury, gait dysfunction, balance impairment, motor learning and neuroplasticity Member of Society of Italian Neurologist, the Italian Association for Parkinson’s disease, Italian Society of Neuro rehabilitation. He is the author of 20 papers published on international journals. Has been speaker at national and international conferences. He collaborates with International association and he is ad hoc reviewer for scientific journals
